KOSHER FOOD RESOURCES
There are many supermarkets along the Cape that have Kosher sections with minimal Kosher products. The Stop & Shop and Shaw's Supermarkets on Route 132, Hyannis, generally have larger selections of dry, fresh, and frozen Kosher products.
The Stop & Shop at Marstons Mills Marketplace, Route 28, Marstons Mills, approx. a 10 minute drive from Hyannis, (508) 428-1278, usually carries Kosher chicken. The store has a Kosher Bakery under the supervision of the KVH or the Massachusetts Vaad Harabonim. Cakes, cookies, danishes, and pastries are Kosher dairy and not Cholov Yisroel. The breads, rolls, and bagels are Pareve, and all of these products that are processed at that store are Pas Yisroel. This can be determined by asking a bakery attendant if the breads were baked in their oven. Another store that carries many kosher items, fresh glatt kosher chicken, Pas Yisroel Challah and whole grain bread is the Trader Joe's Supermarket in Hyannis, 655 Iyannough Rd, Hyannis, (508) 790-3008. You can also get Pas Yisroel Rye Bread and Challah, Kosher certified smoked salmon and whitefish at BJ's, 420 Attucks Lane, Hyannis.
After receiving numerous requests for prepared Kosher foods on Cape Cod, Chabad is proud to offer you a basic menu of prepared foods that are produced fresh at the Chabad Center in Hyannis under the supervision of Rabbi Alperowitz. Click here to see a menu.
